What started as a small automotive trading venture in 2000 has grown into Bangkok's premier car rental service. Through multiple relocations, corporate restructuring, and unwavering commitment to customer care, we've built lasting relationships with thousands of travelers and expats who trust us with their journey.
On March 3rd, 2000, P.D.P. 2000 Co., Ltd. was founded at 51 Pradiphat Road, Phayathai. Specializing in automotive trading and vehicle supply, it laid the groundwork for what would become Sawasdee Rent A Car's trusted fleet management system.
Sawasdee Rental Company Limited was established, creating the first version of the Sawasdee experience. Operating jointly with P.D.P. 2000 Co., Ltd. at Pradiphat Road, we combined fleet expertise with personalized customer service — a formula that would define us for decades.
A pivotal relocation to INTERCHANGE21 Building at the prestigious Asok-Sukhumvit intersection. This strategic move positioned us at the heart of Bangkok's business district, allowing us to better serve corporate clients, long-stay travelers, and international guests.
On July 29th, Sawasdee Car Rent Company Limited was established as an independent entity. This formalization brought enhanced services: airport delivery, hotel pickup, transparent pricing with no hidden fees, and comprehensive insurance coverage — setting new standards for Bangkok car rentals.
After 14 memorable years at Bangkok's most iconic intersection, we bid farewell to Interchange21 in August 2023. This marked both an ending and a new beginning as we evolved our service model to focus on door-to-door delivery throughout Bangkok.
In January 2025, Sawasdee Rental Company Limited and Sawasdee Car Rent Company Limited reunited under one premium mobility brand. This reunion restored perfect synergy between our legacy fleet expertise and modern customer service innovation — ready to serve the next generation of travelers.
For 14 years, Interchange21 wasn't just our address — it was where thousands of journeys began. From the bustling BTS Asok station to the vibrant Sukhumvit Road, we were part of Bangkok's beating heart. As we closed this chapter, we carried forward every lesson learned, every customer served, and every relationship built.
